On January 3rd we had the honor of playing in St. Edward’s Chapel for the middle and upper division students of Casady Episcopal Day School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I gave my very first performance to my classmates in this very chapel years ago… I was 15 and to say I was nervous would be a complete understatement; I was terrified. As many of you have heard me say, that one decision stands as part of my short-list of things I’ve done while being completely afraid. Of that short-list, each ‘thing done afraid’ has led me to such amazing points in my life. The moral of the story: DO, even when you’re afraid.
Thank you to Casady School for having us! To all of the faculty and students of the middle and upper division, we truly loved spending time with you – thank you for such a warm welcome.
